Rhiannon Lucy Cosslett was born in London, raised in Wales, & has lived in France & Italy. She now lives in North London with her husband & her cat, Mackerel.
She writes columns & reviews fiction for the Guardian, where she also edits part-time. She has also written for the Observer Magazine, i newspaper, Vogue, TIME, the New Statesman, Stylist, Elle, & many other publications.
Her first novel, The Tyranny of Lost Things, was about trauma & memory & was published by Sandstone Press in 2018. She also co-wrote The Vagenda (based on the successful feminist satire website of the same name) with Holly Baxter, which was published by Vintage. She is writing a second novel, Female, Nude, which is about art, class, & femininity, & is set in Greece, & her new book, The Year of the Cat, a work of creative non-fiction, is forthcoming.
